Current TCU and Transfer Students Can Join Honors
Current & Transfer Student Criteria
- Complete a minimum of 12 graded hours at TCU
- Earn a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher at TCU
- Applicants need to have a minimum of two or more semesters remaining before graduation after being admitted to the Honors College.
Spring 2026 (to enter in Fall 2026) Information
Beginning Friday, February 6, 2026, students will have access to the application link on the Honors website, which consists of two essay questions. The application will close on Friday, March 6, 2026. No late applications will be accepted for any reason.
Students interested in joining the Roach Honors College must attend one of the mandatory Honors Interest Sessions. During these sessions, students will learn about the expectations and curriculum of the Honors College. This information will help students think about how Honors might fit into their degree plan. If accepted to the Honors College, students will be required to enroll in an Honors course for the fall 2026 term.
Information Sessions will be held in-person during the following times:

| Honors Interest Session 3 - PALKO 130 | Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 10:00 am |
| Honors Interest Session 4 - PALKO 130 | Monday, March 2, 2026 at 3:30 pm |
If you cannot make any of the information sessions, please contact honors@tcu.edu with your academic and work schedule by 5 p.m. February 16. If possible, makeup session(s) will be offered.
Important Dates/Deadlines for Current TCU Students & Transfer Applicants

| Friday, March 6, 2026 | Honors applications due by 11:59 PM. Late applications will not be accepted for any reason. |
| Friday, May 15, 2026 | Admission decisions sent to students. |
| Friday, May 22, 2026 | Deadline for admitted, current students to accept Honors invitation and enroll in an Honors course. |
| Monday, August 31, 2026 - Friday, September 14, 2026 | All accepted students must make an appointment with their Honors academic advisor during this period. |
