The John V. Roach Honors College has been hosting renowned speakers through the Fogelson Honors Forum for over 20 years. This year's speaker was human rights lawyer and co-creator of The Clooney Foundation for Justice, Amal Clooney.
Video Honors DEI Award Winner Frederick Gooding Jr.
This year’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Award was presented to Frederick W. Gooding Jr., Dr. Ronald E. Moore Honors Professor in Humanities, for extensive work examining DEI-related issues and creating a space in the classroom for students to openly explore these topics. He also was the inaugural chair of TCU’s Race & Reconciliation Initiative, a study of TCU’s history related to race.

Q&A with 2023 Honors Professor of the Year, Zackary Hawley, Ph.D.
For over 60 years, Honors students have recognized an outstanding faculty member as Honors Professor of the Year, which is considered to be one of the highest honors bestowed upon a faculty member at TCU. Students chose Zackary Hawley, Ph.D., associate professor of economics, as the 2023 Professor of the Year.
